Marseille reach agreement for Monaco's Nicolas Nkoulou - report

Cameroon defender is set to swap the principality surroundings of Monaco to move just a few miles down the French coast to Marseille
Marseille are edging closer to landing Nicolas Nkoulou from Ligue 2 side Monaco.

The 21-year-old Cameroon defender has been on Marseille's radar for some time and he is reportedly eager to move on after his current club were relegated.

La Provence claims directors from the Stade Velodrome outfit are ready to offer a deal which includes 19-year-old Senah Mango who will head to the principality.

It is said the deal could be wrapped up in the next few days as the Ligue 1 club continue talks with Alou Diarra of Bordeaux.

The French international has been in negotiations with Didier Deschamps' side and is expected to make the move once they agree personal terms.

Reports claim a €5 million deal has been reached for Diarra, but on Wednesday night Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud said there was no news about the transfer.

Diarra has been at Bordeaux since 2007 when he joined from Lyon.
