Paris Saint-Germain have rewarded coach Antoine Kombouare with a new one-year extension to his contract with the capital club.
The Ligue 1 side announced on Monday that the former PSG defender had agreed a deal to remain in charge until June 2013.
"With a view to continuity and also satisfied with the work he has been doing, the club decided to exercise the option to extend Antoine Kombouare's contract by one year," the club announced on their official website.
Kombourare succeeded Paul Le Guen in the dugout in 2009 following a stint with Valenciennes, the team he had led to promotion from the second division.
PSG currently sit in fourth position, on equal points with Lyon in third place, and are in the hunt for Champions League football next season.
They also have a chance to clinch silverware this month, when they look to retain the French Cup against Lille at Stade de France on May 14.
