Lisandro Lopez Returns To Olympique Lyonnais Training And Expected To Make Real Madrid Clash

Lisandro is set to play for Lyon against Real Madrid...
Olympique Lyonnais have received good news ahead of their Champions League clash with Real Madrid next week as key striker Lisandro Lopez is back in training.

The 28-year-old has returned to full training after suffering a hamstring injury that kept him out of Lyon's clash with Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 tie, and is now available for the trip to Madrid for the return leg on March 16.

Lyon coach Claude Puel acknowledged this and has been quoted by Uefa.com as saying, "A fortnight of rest was enough for Lisandro. He has trained well this week and will be in the squad."

However, defender Cris has sustained an injury on his left thigh that puts his participation in Madrid in doubt. The Brazilian has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Arles-Avignon.

"We hope we can have him back next week," said Puel. "But it is a case of whether he recovers well."
