Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has denied reports suggesting his club are negotiating a move for Juventus midfielder Momo Sissoko.
“We consider him a great player, but it’s the first time I've heard of our interest in him," he said, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
“I can categorically deny that there has been any kind of contact with the player or his agents from myself, my managers, or members of my coaching staff."
Reports had claimed that Sissoko would be brought in as a direct replacement for Bordeaux star Alou Diarra, however, Triaud was quick to quash the speculation.
“[Diarra] has a contract with us, and nobody else,” he said.
