Serbia World Cup 2010 star Milan Jovanovic has completed his free transfer move to Liverpool on a three-year contract.
Jovanovic, 29, became a free agent this summer after letting his contract at Standard Liege run down. The move to Anfield was initially announced in the New Year, but has been made official today after rumours had emerged ex-Reds manager Rafael Benitez had tried to bring him to Inter.
After spending four successful years in Belgium - where he won the Footballer of the Year in 2008 and Golden Shoe in 2009 - Jovanovic is looking forward to his new challenge in the Premier League.
"It is an honour for me to sign for one of the biggest clubs in football," Jovanovic said, speaking to the club's official website.
"I cannot wait to start working with the manager and I'm looking forward to joining up with my new team-mates on our Swiss training camp."
