Everton Agree Jo Loan Deal With Manchester City

The Brazilian is back at Goodison Park...
Everton have confirmed that they have agreed a deal with Manchester City to take striker Jo on loan for a season, and are now just waiting for the paperwork to be completed to finalise the move.

The Toffees' official website states, "Everton have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City striker Jo on a season-long loan.

"Officials are now working to complete the paperwork required to finalise the transfer."

This comes after reports surfaced at Manchester City this week claiming that the player had already left Eastlands to become a Toffee, news which was later withdrawn from their website by the Citizens.

However, it appears now that any difficulties inherent in the move has largely been overcome, with a final few formalities all that now stands between the Brazilian and a return to the club where he scored five goals in eleven games whilst on loan in the latter part of last season.

Sky Sports New also reports that there is an option in the deal for it to be made permanent at a later date.
