Eriksen eyes home comforts

Tottenham have won just two league games at White Hart Lane this season but have a sterling away record, and the Dane is keen to record a win over Everton in London
Christian Eriksen is desperate for Tottenham to record a home win over Everton as they seek some consistency in the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have won just two top-flight games at White Hart Lane this season, meaning 11 of their 17 points have come on the road.

Midfielder Eriksen added another three to their travel tally with a last-gasp winner at Hull City last weekend, and the Dane is keen for his team-mates to take their away form into Sunday's clash with the Toffees.

"Everyone wants to win at home," he told the club's official website. "We know if we want to go higher in the Premier League we have to win our home games.

"It's a big game for us and we want to get back on track at home.

"Everton finished really well last season and they've been fighting back this season. We are as well.

"It's close in the table. One or two wins and you are right up there where you want to be. We've won at Hull and now we'll look to get a couple more."

Everton are ahead of Tottenham on goal difference, with both just inside the top half, but the Merseysie club have not won at at White Hart Lane since 2008.
