Brazilian wonderkid Neymar urges Chelsea to make bid

Santos striker, who turned down the west London club last summer, hopes the Premier League side renew their interest in order to fulfil his "dream" of playing in Europe
Brazilian attacking sensation Neymar has issued a 'come and get me' plea to Chelsea, who he rejected last season.

The 19-year-old has been the subject of fierce transfer debate across Europe since last summer and his eye-catching performances on the international stage this year have further fuelled talk of a move across the Atlantic.

The man himself has long been linked with Chelsea, and revealed that he turned down a move to west London last summer to stay in Brazil, but has now pleaded with the Premier League club to come back in with an offer to fulfil his dream of playing in Europe, and intimated that he would also be open to listening to Manchester United and City.

"I was very happy about Chelsea's interest because it is a club every player would like to play for, but at that moment the right decision was to stay at Santos," Neymar told the Daily Telegraph.

"To play in Europe is my dream. I was very proud of Chelsea's interest and I hope to keep playing well so that this proposal can happen again.

"I know about these teams; Chelsea, Manchester - to play for them are the dreams of all players. I know about players in England - [Didier] Drogba, [Frank] Lampard, [Steven] Gerrard - these are very good players.

"I have spoken to Ramires and David Luiz and they say England is a very good country and London is a beautiful place to live."

Neymar is expected to play a key role in Brazil’s attempts to land the Copa America this summer.
