Manchester United have sold Norwegian hot prospect Magnus Eikrem to club legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Molde but have inserted in a buy back clause.
There had been weeks of speculation over whether Eikrem would leave the Red Devils to join the Norwegian outfit.
On Wednesday, it was eventually revealed at a press conference that the youngster had signed a three-year deal in his homeland.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson clearly still wants to keep an eye on the player, though, as the Red Devils have first option to buy back the midfielder if he blossoms under Solkskjaer.
The two worked together closely when the former Norway striker was in charge of the reserve team at Old Trafford.
