Porto Winger Cristian Rodriguez On Everton Radar - Report

According to a report in A Bola, highly rated winger Cristian Rodriguez has attracted the interest of Premier League outfit Everton with his good performances for Portuguese table toppers Porto in the past couple of months.

The report claims that Everton manager David Moyes is a keen admirer of the Uruguay international and the English side could go as far as to make an €8 million offer for the 25-year-old in the winter transfer window.

Rodriguez started his professional career with Penarol and also wore the jerseys of Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica before joining his current club in the summer of 2008.

He has since developed into a key player at Porto and it remains to be seen whether the Dragoes are willing to cash in on Rodriguez this January.

The highly rated attacker missed out on a spot in Uruguay's 2010 World Cup squad due to a ban he was carrying from the qualifiers.
