Marouane Chamakh Determined To Make Arsenal Move A Success

Marouane Chamakh has declared he "will try to give everything" he has to become a success at Arsenal.

Chamakh, 26, joined this summer on a free transfer from Bordeaux after being chased by the club for a number of years. The Morocco international started the 1-1 Premier League draw with Liverpool and forced a mistake from Pepe Reina in the build up to the equalising goal.

Speaking to skysports.com, Chamakh stated he was determined to make the most of his time in north London.

He said: "I am discovering a new championship and another culture.

"For me, joining a club like Arsenal was a dream from the start, it is a dream which I am realising.

"It is a genuine pleasure for me.

"I will try to give it everything I have got to make sure that it works."

Chamakh may have made a promising start to life at Arsenal, but he has work to do if he is to be classed as one of the best players in Europe by the Castrol Rankings. The Moroccan currently lies 176th in the latest study of the top five leagues in Europe.
