Arsenal are set to sign their latest young talent, according to widespread German reports. Coveted attacking midfielder Serge Gnabry, who has spent much of his youth at Stuttgart, has allegedly agreed to move to London in July 2011, following his 16th birthday. In return, Stuttgart will receive an estimated £100,000.
Gnabry featured for Arsenal in two U-18 friendlies recently, scoring against Birmingham City. While he will not officially sign with Arsenal until next summer, he is expected to begin training in January in order to get accustomed to his new team and the playing conditions in England.
While he has decided on a club, Gnabry has yet to commit his future to a national team. He is eligible to represent either Germany or Cote d'Ivoire at international level.
