Blackpool Looking To Sign Free Agents Michael Ball And Marlon Harewood - Report

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is looking to bolster his newly promoted side with the signings of free agents Michael Ball and Marlon Harewood in the coming days, according to Sky Sports.
Both players are reportedly on trial at the club, having taken part in training since Monday morning.

Harewood was released by Aston Villa in July following the expiration of his three-year deal with the club, having spent loan spells at Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United in 2009, and will bolster a forward line in need desperate of additions - with current competition coming from striking duo Billy Clarke and Brett Ormerod.

Ball, a 30-year-old left-back, spent the last three years of his playing career at Manchester City before being released from his contract in the summer of 2009, but the footballer has been out of the game since then and so is likely to be regarded as the riskier signing of the two.
