West Ham United manager Gianfranco Zola continues to trail Inter striker Mario Balotelli, stating it would be beneficial for the young Italian to join the club.
Zola has made his interest in Balotelli known in the past as he looks to strengthen his attack ahead of the new Premier League season. The Hammers boss is still eager to bring the powerful forward to Upton Park, despite being thus far unable to complete the deal.
"I have done everything I can to sign Mario," said Zola, according to Sky Sports News.
"It would be in both our interests if he came to West Ham.
"There's no place for him at Inter and he's a natural talent.
"He is extroverted and knows his attitude can upset people, but he's intelligent and still learning to handle situations."
The Hammers currently have few attacking options. Dean Ashton is still out of action through injury, while Savio is yet to assert himself at the club, leaving Carlton Cole as the best striker at Zola's disposal.
