Liverpool are hoping injured pair Martin Skrtel and Nabil El Zhar can battle back to full fitness to play in the opening game of the Premier League season.
Both have had scans on their respective injuries after picking up knocks against Thailand in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday.
Skrtel has suffered a hamstring strain and is expected be out for three weeks, while El Zhar's medial ligament problem in his right knee could keep him out for as long as four weeks.
Liverpool's first game of the season, a visit to White Hart Lane to face Tottenham Hotspur, takes place on August 16, just over three weeks from now.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso and Yossi Benayoun will be fully fit and available to face Singapore on Sunday having completed a full training session after potential injury complaints.
Defender Glen Johnson, recently signed from Portsmouth, will continue to miss out as he attempts to overcome a problem with his Achilles.
