Fulham are reported to be on the verge of signing French midfielder Sekou Baradji from Portuguese side Naval.
It would be the second shot at England for one of the Portuguese league’s standout players, who failed to make an impact at West Ham United and Reading when he was barely into his 20s.
"I went abroad very young, so I made a lot of mistakes,” Bardji, now 25, told skysports.com.
"Now I am mature and ready for a fight. I love the Premier League, it is the best.
"My destiny is to return there and show my qualities."
Fulham are yet to acknowledge reports linking them to the holding midfielder, who was born in Paris to Senegalese parents.
