Manchester United lead the race to sign Wolfsburg's young striker Edin Dzeko, according to The Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old has attracted the interest of many clubs this season, including United's bitter rivals Arsenal, who reportedly took a closer look at the Bosnian earlier in the year, but nothing materialised.
Other Premier League clubs have also been linked with the Bosnia and Herzegovina international, with Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland all apparently showing an interest in securing the youngsters services.
The former FK Teplice striker would command a transfer fee of around £12 million, and it is thought he will probably move to the Premier League in the summer after his performances in the German Bundesliga.
The Red Devils are also reportedly interested in Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, in what could be a double assault on Bundesliga clubs, as the club look to strengthen for next season.
Dzeko has been playing his football in the German top flight for the past two years, having been signed by Wolfsburg for a fee of €4 million, and he has impressed in his 52 appearances for the club, in which he has scored a very impressive 23 goals.
