Former Corinthians defender Vincent Bikana has signed for Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax after a successful medical and will move to Europe after a two-year spell in Brazil

Cameroonian-born central defender Vincent Bikana, who impressed many Africans with his integration at Brazilian club Corinthians, has left South America for Europe, signing a three-year contract with Swiss Super League side Neuchatel Xamax.

After Corinthians, the 19-year-old later played for another Brazilian club, Ole Brasil Futebol Clube, and has since received several call-ups to the junior Cameroon sides.

Bikana was acquired by the Swiss club alongside former Valencia defender David Navarro, 31, according to Tsr.ch.

Born in Douala, Bikana briefly played youth football in his homeland before moving to Brazil in 2009.
