Pascal Feindouno on trial at FC Sion

Monaco’s Pascal Feindouno is currently in Switzerland to prepare for a trial under the guidance of his former Saint Etienne coach Laurent Roussey

French Ligue 1 AS Monaco’s attacking midfielder Pascal Feindouno, who joined the Red and Whites early this year, has travelled to Switzerland to begin a trial at the Swiss Super League side FC Sion.

The 30-year-old Guinea international’s contract at the Principality’s club expires on June 30, with no signs of extension.

The former Saint Etienne playmaker will hopefully meet his former coach at the French club Laurent Roussey, who became FC Sion’s manager this year.

Despite the affinity between both men, Roussey has demanded a trial to ascertain the current physical condition and motivation of the Syli National captain, according to Matin.ch.

Feindouno debuted as a professional at Bordeaux in 1998, before moving to Lorient, Saint Etienne and then Qatar’s Al-Sadd.

He is still considered one of the best dribblers the French league has seen.
