Former Tanzanian league champions Simba announced that they have officially agreed to sell sturdy midfielder, Ugandan Patrick Ochan to African champions TP Mazembe.
Ochan, who is also a key figure in the Uganda national team attended successful trials at the club recently.
Simba Chairman Ismail Aden Rage told Daily News that the clubs have agreed a £92,000 (about Tsh225m) transfer deal on Tuesday.
“Ochan’s deal is exactly the same as that of Mbwana (Samatta), which Simba entered with TP Mazembe last month,” said Rage.
According to the agreement, Mazembe will pay Ochan £3000 (Tsh7.5m) in wages monthly over the duration of his contract, apart from other benefits.
