Czech club AC Sparta Prague has reached a deal to sell Ivorian-born striker Bony Wilfried to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, the Associated Press said Sunday.
The 22-year-old Cote D’Ivoire international is expected in the Netherlands this week to undergo a medical and finalise the deal that will run till 2014, according to Dutch club.
The former Issia Wazi (Ivorian club) playmaker has been a key player at the Czech club, scoring 17 goals in the Gambrinus liga, Champions League qualifying and Europa League this season.
Local sports media in Czech Republic speculates that Sparta will rake up to four million euros from the deal. Their contract with the attacking speedster ends this year.
Wilfried received call up to the Ivorian national team only last year, and has appeared twice.
