Algeria international goalkeeper Rais M'Bolhi has signed a three-and-half-year contract with Russian club side Samara, according to the club’s official website.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The 24-year-old trained at the Olympique Marseille youth centre, but made his name in the Bulgarian League where he spent two seasons playing for Slavia Sofia and CSKA Sofia.

M'bolhi became the Fennecs first choice goalkeeper after he replaced Faouzi Chaouchi at the 2010 World Cup.
