Nice Striker Mamadou Bagayoko Handed Three-Match Ban

The Mali international was given a three-match suspension for offensive gesture…

Mali international Mamadou Bagayoko was handed a three-match suspension on Friday by the disciplinary commission of the France Football Federation after being found guilty of raising two fingers at fans from the bench during Nice B's clash against Grasse last weekend, according to the club's official website.

The suspension ends on November 28, after which the 31-year-old would be able to continue with the CFA 2 matches.

Nice coach Eric Roy has not been fielding the Malian in the first team squad, a situation observers say has led to Bagayoko to have a short temper.
