In a bid to help Nigerian youths live their dreams of making football a career, Super Eagles defender Dan Shittu has set a stage for a talent hunt project tagged 'Dan Shittu’s Soccer Star Football Talent Hunt'.
The project is designed to afford young people and future stars of the game the chance to showcase their skills and build their potential to a global standard.
While unveiling the project yesterday in Lagos, Shittu explained that he has been nursing the desire to help young people in the country since he joined the national team in 2002.
The Bolton Wanderers player disclosed that a one-year professional football contract in Belgium awaits the winner of the talent hunt programme.
The programme is meant for boys and girls between 16 and 24 years from October 1 to November 1, 2010.
