Twahir Muhiddin Takes Over Kenyan Coaching Job And Immediately Recalls Titus

Head coach Antoine Hey boycotted the training after two players were called to the team without his consent...
Harambee assistant coach Twahir Muhiddin has taken over the reins at Harambee Stars, after German tactician Antoine Hey stayed away from the team following a disagreement with Football Kenya Limited over the recalling of Edgar Ochieng and Jamal Mohamed to the team without his consent.

And to exert his authority, Muhiddin recalled Mathare United midfielder Titus Mulama to the training camp in readiness for the massive showdown against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday.

Mulama last played for Kenya in the second group of the qualifiers during the home match against Zimbabwe in Nairobi, a game which Kenya won 2-0.

The 29-year-old midfielder returned to rejoin Mathare United after a spell in Sweden with Vasteras.

Harambee Stars currently now have a full house of players after the arrivals of Musa Otieno and Dennis Oliech last night.
