According to infosfoot.net, Club Athletique Bizertin player Bassem Ben Nasser, who underwent surgery on his foot last month without the permission of his club, is well on his way to playing again soon.
“I still haven’t taken out the stitches, but I have started the rehabilitation phase. I’ve already started running. I can’t wait to compete again. This recovery period is set at three weeks," he explained.
Meanwhile, the former Etoile Sportive du Sahel player also insisted that all was well between he and his club officials, despite him taking the decision to operate his injury with a doctor who was unaffiliated with the team.
He continued, “My relationship with the CAB officials is a good one. They came recently to visit me and I came to see my team-mates in Sousse at their hotel before they played against Etoile.
"My doctor, Jalel Dahmane, spoke to my team’s medical staff and gave them a full update on my situation."
