Nigeria's Under-17 striker, Terry Envoh, is destined for bigger things, according to his coach, John Obuh.
Envoh, on loan from FC Sports of Jos to Mighty Jets, shone at an invitational tournament in Dubai earlier this year, and he has sustained such form by also getting among the goals as Nigeria engaged two-time African champions, Gambia, in two warm-up games in Bunjul.
Nigeria's Golden Eaglets drew the first game 1-1 before they won the next game 2-0.
"Envoh scored one of the goals in Gambia. He has the potentials to be a great player, but I still expect a lot more from him, as I do the other players in the team," Obuh told Goal.com
"Overall, our trip to Gambia was a very good experience for the whole team."
The fire power of the Eaglets is expected to be boosted next week by the return of Heartland ace, Stanley Okoro, who has been away in CAF Champions League action.
The squad are expected to depart Lagos Friday week for a two-week training stint in Germany, officials disclosed.
Nigeria host the FIFA Under-17 World Cup from October 24 and they are pitched against Germany, Argentina and Honduras in the first round.
