Ghana Pick Provisional Squad For U-20 World Cup

Ghana have picked a dozen foreign-based players in a provisional squad for next month's FIFA Under-20 World Cup.

Ghana Black Satellites have selected 12 overseas-based players in a provisional 24-man squad for next month's FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.

Daniel Opare, Rabiu Mohammed, Ishmael Yartey and Sadick Adams, who missed the African Youth Championship earlier this year, have been included by coach Sellas Tetteh in the party to Egypt.

Also invited by the African champions are Opoku Agyemang, who impressed with the Black Stars, and John Benson of Aspire Academy. Both are getting only their first call-ups.

The squad will be cut back to 21 players before the tournament kicks off on September 24.
