Tunisia international skipper Jaidi, 33, has been offloaded by Birmingham City, who have won promotion back to the English Premier League this season after finishing behind Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Championship.
The former Esperance central defender joined Blues from Bolton three years ago and scored six goals in 93 appearances.
He played a key role as Birmingham won promotion back to the Premier League, figuring in 30 Championship games.
He is back as skipper of his country's team after he first quit international football after the 2006 World Cup in Germany. In March, he led the Carthage Eagles to a very important win in Kenya in continuation of the 2010 World Cup qualifying tournament.
Nigeria and Mozambique are the other teams in this group.
