The 21-year-old player's Ghanaian side, Eleven Wise, claim that the player only has to complete his medical before the move can be completed.
Rahim, who is one of three footballing brothers fathered by former African Footballer of the Year, Abedi Pele, impressed Hoffenheim officials at last month's CHAN tournament in the Ivory Coast. Ghana reached the final of the tournament, reserved for players in the domestic leagues, with Rahim scoring twice.
"I can confirm to you that Rahim is moving to Germany on Sunday for his medicals and then put-pen-to-paper if he passes. We have agreed to the terms of the contract," disclosed Eleven Wise CEO, Jamil Maraby.
"When he returns on Thursday, he will then pick up the work here and join the club next season."
He will join compatriot Isaac Vorsah, if the deal is completed by the close of next week.
Rahim played his rookie season for the Sekondi-based side and helped them to sixth-place by the half-way mark of the season.
