Tunisia's Yassin Mikari Signs For Sochaux

Tunisia international defender Yassin Mikari has teamed up with struggling Sochaux, according to the president of the French club, Alexandre Lacombe.

Yassin Mikari passed a medical and he is now regarded as a replacement for injury-hit Brazilian, Carlos Alberto Carlao, at Sochaux.

The Grasshopper of Zurich left-back, 25, had represented Switzerland at Under-21 level before he opted to feature for his native country Tunisia at full international level.

Sochaux are forced to strengthen their squad as they battle against relegation this season. They have already signed Czech international striker from Banik Ostrava, Vaclav Sverkos.

Sochaux are 19th in the French top division with 14 points from 19 matches, only two points ahead of bottom team Le Havre.
