Zambia coach Herve Renard has recommended midfielder Nathan Sinkala to European clubs following his impressive performances at the ongoing 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Chipolopolo have four points from two games, and the Green Buffaloes midfielder has played every minute for the Zambians thus far.
He is a new addition to the national team, having joined the side on their tour of India in November, where he made his debut against the Indians on November 29 in a friendly which the Chipolopolo comfortably won 5-0.
"Of course, he didn’t play for the national team before I came back in the country and when I saw him when he came with us to India, I was sure he was able to play because I was very impressed with his performance,” Renard said, according to MTNFootball.
"Now the question was he able to withstand the pressure of the Africa Cup before the tournament? We can see now he that has no problems and is playing like a player with 50 caps," Renard stated.
The player returned to Africa after some time playing in Israel during 2010, but his national team coach believes that he is now ready to make his European return.
"I think he can be an important player for Zambia and hope he will leave Zambia after the tournament he needs to go to Europe to improve his performance," he said.
