Equatorial Guinea announce 23-man roster for 2012 Africa Cup of Nations

The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations co-hosts have named a final squad that will represent the country at the upcoming tournament
The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) co-hosts Equatorial Guinea have revealed their final 23-man squad for the continental showpiece.

Coach Gilson Paulo, who took over the team a few weeks ago, surprised many local fans with the exclusion of 31-year-old Ivan Zarandona from his final list.

Equatorial Guinea are hosting the 28th edition of the tournament with Gabon from January 21 to February 12. They are in Group A along with Libya, Senegal and Zambia.
