OFFICIAL: Hamburg Take Ndjeng On Loan

Hamburger SV have elected to take Marcel Ndjeng on board after he managed to impress during a 10-day trial...
The 26-year-old midfielder was released by Borussia Mönchengladbach at the beginning of the winter break but has been quick to find his feet by way of a six month loan deal at the AOL Arena.

"I like his style of play, his ability to put in really good crosses which create danger," said HSV boss Martin Jol, who had a space in the squad to fill after the the departure of Nigel de Jong to Manchester City.

It remains to be seen whether Ndjeng will be already thrown in the mix in Tuesday's DFB Cup clash against 1860 München, but he surely will want to play a part when the Bundesliga season officially recommences with HSV vs FC Bayern on Friday night.
