Europa League contenders Anderlecht have completed the transfer of Honduras midfielder Mario Martinez from Valerenga, according to a report in Gazet van Antwerpen.
The report claims that the Belgian table toppers have signed the promising youngster on a six-month loan deal with a view to making the move permanent next summer.
Martinez joins up with his new team-mates with immediate effect. Anderlecht are currently staying in Spain for a training camp to prepare for the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old midfielder will be the second player from Honduras at Anderlecht. Defender Victor Bernardez is already under contract with the Brussels powerhouse.
Neither of the two clubs have confirmed the transfer so far, but a statement is expected to be released later on Tuesday to make the move official.
