Savio Nsereko is one of Europe's most promising players. He was signed by Brescia at the age of 16 and has now secured a move to West Ham United at age 19, according to his agent.
"Savio Nsereko is now a West Ham player," said the player's agent, Patrick Bastianelli, to Tuttonapoli.net. "He signed a contract for the next six months, plus a further four years. He is very happy to have the chance to play in the Premier League."
West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola has been searching for reinforcements in Italy, also being linked with moves for Fiorentina's Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Giampaolo Pazzini before they mvoed to Bologna and Sampdoria respectively.
Bastianelli continued, "Thanks to Zola, he can compete and mature at a great club. Napoli and Roma? They were also very interested and it's probable that if he didn't move now, in the summer he could have gone to one of those teams."
Nsereko is a Ugandan-born German and has represented Germany at the Under-19 level.
