Inter defender Walter Samuel has spoke of his delight at being back in the first team after coming on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw at Napoli on Sunday evening.
After suffering a severe knee injury against Brescia on November 6, the Argentine has been out of action ever since, but completed his rehabilitation by playing the final few minutes against the Naples outfit.
Samuel told Inter Channel: "I'm feel good and I'm delighted at having been able to play the last few minutes of this match. I would like to thank the medical staff for the work they did after my injury, my family who has always stood by me, and all the fans.
"I was confident. After the operation I had spoken with the doctors, who are always concerned about avoiding a hasty return to the pitch. But they saw that I would be able to do it. Now, I'm very happy."
Inter and Samuel will look to wrap up their league season with victory against Catania next weekend.
