The Friuli club has been in the market for a quality defender to bolster the back line, with the young Serbian prospect fitting the role well. Despite being offered a long term contract from his previous club, the player has decided to make the move to Serie A.
The Serbian Under 21 international signed a five year deal with the Bianconeri, who shelled out one million euros to conclude the transfer with the Bulgarian club.
Udinese General Director Pietro Leonardi showed his content following the conclusion of the deal when he said, “Vujadinović will integrate well into the defence, which can now consider itself complete and more competitive with all the games we will play this season in mind.”
Udinese are involved in the UEFA Cup and will want to have a strong season, perhaps improving upon their seventh place finish in last years championship, while progressing as far as possible in Europe.
