The Paris Saint-Germain striker will lead his country out against their Scandinavian rivals for the first leg on Saturday, as they battle for a spot in the tournament in France next year.
And the 34-year-old believes the clashes will be like two finals, with Erik Hamren's side needing to be at their best to overcome Denmark.
"With Sweden, it will be two final against Denmark, two very difficult matches," Ibrahimovic told reporters.
"We will need to be 100 percent in both meetings not only one. It's the secret to being at the European Championships. We have already proved that we have the level to go to the Euro now we must do it again."
The national team captain also took time to praise the young crop of players coming through, with the Under-21 side winning their version of the European Championships in the Czech Republic during the summer.
"We have young players who have shown great things this summer with hopes," he continued.
"The U17 also are performing, that's fine, they must continue because when the time comes for me to retire, they will take the lead."
