Franck Tabanou could be on his way out of Toulouse in the summer transfer window as Inter are ready to make a move for the former France Under-21 starlet, Goal.com has learned.
The Nerazzurri are keen to add a new left-back to their squad ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, and they see the 23-year-old Frenchman as the perfect signing.
Tabanou has a contract with Toulouse until the summer of 2015, but Inter are hopeful that a fee in the region of €9 million will be enough to lure him away from his current club.
Inter have been keeping tabs on the wing-back for two years and are now preparing an official bid for Tabanou as they feel he is now ready to take the step up to a more competitive league and a bigger club.
The Thiais-born Tabanou has mainly featured in midfield for Toulouse, but has also impressed at left-back on a number of occasions, and Inter see a left-sided equivalent of Maicon in the Frenchman.
Tabanou came through the ranks of the Toulouse youth academy and has made over 100 competitive appearances for the Ligue 1 side since making his official debut in 2008-09.
