Barcelona have been keeping tabs on 18-year-old Brescia goalkeeper Nicola Leali, agent Graziano Battistini has told Goal.com.

Reports in Spain on Thursday claimed Pep Guardiola has already sent scouts to observe the Italy Under-19 international in action.

However, Battistini is cooling down the hype surrounding his client's link to the Spanish champions.

"It is always nice for Leali to be linked with such an important club," the agent told Goal.com.

"Barcelona know who he is, but there is still some way before saying they have a real interest in him.

"Also, I am sure Barcelona have already signed a young Argentine goalkeeper."

Battistini believes Leali is a big club player and invited bids from a number of top European sides.

"Barcelona are not the only team. AC Milan, Inter, Juventus and Chelsea should all be looking around."

Leali has kept three clean sheets in five appearances in Serie B this season.
