Former Netherlands midfielder Edgar Davids has told Goal.com the time is right for the Oranje to win the World Cup.
Bert van Marwijk's side currently have a 9.4 per cent chance of winning the trophy in South Africa according to the Castrol FIFA World Cup Winner Predictor.
But Davids believes the Oranje will go all the way.
"In relation to the Oranje, I think the right moment has finally arrived for them to win the World Cup," he told Goal.com.
Davids, who played in Serie A during his prestigious career, has also underlined Italy's credentials.
"It's always the usual story with Italy. You never know what to expect from them. They always know how to get better during the tournament and this is very important."
The Dutchman still follows Calcio with a passion, and he is confident Juventus will lead the rebellion next season following a sub-standard campaign.
"Juventus will surely return to being competitive if they mix young talent with experienced players," he added.
"But they also need quality players that know how to cope under heavy pressure."
