The agent of Brazilian ace Ederson has exclusively told Goal.com that the Lyon winger is unlikely to join Serie A club Lazio this January.
A number of reports around the peninsula have tipped the former Nice man to join the Aquilotti.
However, Antonio Caliendo has set the record straight. Ederson appears to be in talks with the French outfit over a new deal, meaning chances of a move to Italy remain slim.
"I will be meeting Lyon soon to discuss my client's future. The impression is that the Lyon directors are not willing to let him go," Caliendo told Goal.com.
"Therefore, we will be working now for June."
The prominent agent is keeping an eye on the evolution of the Calciomercato this winter, and he has been impressed with what he has seen. There is more to come in the way of big movers and shakers.
"It has not been a poor market thus far. There have been some very interesting moves such as [Goran] Pandev and [Luca] Toni, and I think there will be more," he added.
"I think Roma's move for Toni is the best thus far. He has great motivation and will get back to his best with the Lupi."
