Russian giants Spartak Moscow are reportedly chasing young Estudiantes defender Marcos Rojo, with the Pincha set to receive up to $4 million for the 20-year-old first teamer.
The youngster announced himself to foreign observers with his stunning winning goal against Boca Juniors a month ago, and Spartak are ready to snap him up in January, according to Ole. Rojo would join compatriots Cristian Maidana and Nicolas Pareja at the club.
Rojo has been ever-present for the La Plata club in the Apertura, playing in every game so far alongside fellow defensive rocks Leandro Desabato and German Re as the team has marched to the top of the Primera.
Thanks to the efforts of Rojo and company, Estudiantes boast the meanest defensive record in the league having only conceded four goals in 12 encounters.
