Ukrainian powerhouse Dynamo Kiev have completed the transfer of Argentinian international Facundo Bertoglio from Colon de Santa Fe for a reported fee of €5 million. Kiev have confirmed the deal on their official website.
Dynamo missed out on the Ukrainian league title last term and are desperate to strengthen their squad ahead of next season. Head coach Valeriy Gazzaev has asked for four new players and Bertoglio is his first new signing.
The 19-year-old Bertoglio is a product of the Colon youth academy and made his official debut in May 2009. The highly rated winger had since developed into a key player for the Argentinian club and even made his debut in Argentina's national side. Bertoglio netted a brace in the 4-0 international friendly win against Haiti.
Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Sampdoria all were believed to be keeping tabs on the young winger, but Bertoglio has now decided to move to Ukraine instead. The youngster has signed a five-year deal with Dynamo Kiev.
