Marcelo London, a leading director of Boca Juniors, affirmed that it will be very complicated for Carlos Bianchi to become the new coach of the club after declarations made to Radio La Red on Monday.
However, he stated that Bianchi will return to being the coach of the club at one point, but that it isn't the right moment.
"We will try to convince Bianchi because everyone wants him to be the coach, but it is complicated because he wants to respect the contract that he signed in January, which doesn't allow him to succeed (Carlos) Ischia," explained London.
Because of this, Boca may opt for former Argentine national team boss Alfio Basile, who resigned from his post last year when Argentina were beaten 1-0 by Chile in a World Cup qualifier in Santiago.
Other options include that of Gustavo Alfaro, Jose Basualdo and Abel Alvez, three coaches who are also interested in the most important position available in Argentine football.
Even if Ischia will be sacked at the end of the season, the coach has refused to present his resignation. Under Ischia Boca won the Apertura Championship in 2008, but they have struggled a great deal this season, and were eliminated from the round of 16 stage of the Copa Libertadores after a shocking 3-2 aggregate defeat to Defensor Sporting of Uruguay.
