VVV star Keisuke Honda could be on his way out of the Eredivisie side after Champions League hopefuls CSKA Moscow made an enquiry about the availability of the gifted midfielder.
Hai Berden, chairman of the Venlo outfit, confirmed the news in an interview with Omroep Venlo. However, he insisted that CSKA are not the only team to be keeping tabs on Honda. The young playmaker is also being linked with English sides Liverpool and Everton.
CSKA appear to be sitting in pole position though and the Russian giants are believed to be ready to table a €7 million offer for the Japanese international.
The 23-year-old Honda turned down an offer from CSKA Moscow last summer, but the influential midfielder could now be tempted to move to Russia after all following the club's progress to the knock-out phase of the Champions League.
