Rene Adler Pulls Out Of Germany Squad To Face Kazakhstan & Australia

Rene Adler will miss Germany's games against Kazakhstan and Australia...
Goalkeeper Rene Adler has been forced to pull out of the Germany national squad to face Kazakhstan and Australia in their upcoming two international matches because of a muscle injury.

The 26-year-old started between the posts in Bayer Leverkusen's 2-0 victory over Schalke in the German Bundesliga on Sunday but will miss the Euro 2012 qualifier against Kazakhstan on Saturday and the subsequent friendly against Australia on Tuesday.

The German Football Association made the announcement on Monday and also said that head coach Joachim Loew and goalkeeping coach Andreas Kopke have decided against calling up a replacement.

This means that Schalke's Manuel Neuer and Werder Bremen's Tim Wiese will be the only two custodians in the team.
