A new era begins for the Greeks...
Newly appointed coach of the Greece national team Fernando Santos has named three uncapped players in his 22-man squad for the friendly international against Serbia in Belgrade on August 11.

Santos took over from Otto Rehhagel after the 2010 World Cup finals and is set for his first match in charge of the squad. He has called up 22-year-old Panathinaikos winger Stergos Marinos, 20-year-old midfielder Savvas Gentsoglou of AEK Athens and Olympiacos' 21-year-old midfielder Giannis Papadopoulos for the encounter.

The Portuguese has also left out eight of the players who featured for Greece in South Africa, although two of them are suffering from injuries at the moment.
