Istanbul giants Galatasaray have confirmed the signing of Tomas Ujfalusi on a two-year deal from Atletico Madrid.
The 33-year-old defender joins the Turkish side after three years in the Spanish capital, where he made 92 league appearances.
A statement on Gala's official website reads:
"Galatasaray have signed Tomas Ujfalusi from Atletico Madrid. Ujfalusi has penned a two-year deal and the club wishes him good luck in his new surroundings."
Ujfalusi, who made his name during his stints at Hamburg and Fiorentina, made won a total of 78 caps for his country, before deciding to focus on club football.
This looks set to be an active summer for Galatasaray, with Ujfalusi's former team-mates Diego Forlan and Jose Antonio Reyes also linked with moves to the Turk Telekom Arena club this summer.
Reports from Turkey's Dogan News Agency state that Reyes will arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday in order to officially sign a deal with the 2000 Uefa cup winners.
